2000BPH 5L Bottled Water Shrink Wrapping Machine Enters Factory Testing

Time: 2026-10-14

TUYAO PACKAGING has completed the initial assembly of a 2000 BPH 5L bottled water shrink wrapping machine and has started the first stage of factory testing. The machine will later be integrated with the rest of the customer’s bottled water production line for a complete line test.

This stage is an important checkpoint before shipment. It allows the engineering team to inspect the machine structure, verify the main operating functions and prepare the equipment for full-line coordination.

A practical packaging solution for 5L bottled water

Five-liter bottled water requires stable handling throughout the packaging process. Compared with small PET bottles, 5L containers are larger and heavier, so the conveyor system, bottle positioning and film-wrapping process must work together smoothly.

The shrink wrapping machine is designed to group 5L water bottles and wrap them with packaging film for storage, handling and transportation. A stable film package can help keep products together during loading and delivery while providing a clean and consistent finished appearance.

For a production target of 2000 bottles per hour, the machine must balance speed with reliable bottle transfer. The goal is not simply to increase the running speed. It is also important to maintain steady feeding, accurate grouping and consistent film shrinking during continuous operation.

What the first-stage factory test covers

The current test takes place after the equipment assembly has been completed. At this stage, the TUYAO PACKAGING engineering team focuses on the machine itself and checks whether the main components work as planned.

The first-stage test normally includes:

● Checking the assembled frame, guards and operating components

● Inspecting conveyor movement and bottle transfer

● Testing bottle grouping and pack formation

● Checking film feeding, cutting and sealing functions

● Adjusting the heating and shrinking section

● Confirming the control panel and PLC operation

● Reviewing safety protection and emergency-stop functions

● Observing the machine during trial operation

These checks help the engineers identify details that may need adjustment before the equipment is connected with upstream and downstream machines. It is a controlled step that supports a more efficient full-line commissioning process later.

Why factory testing matters before shipment

A shrink wrapping machine does not work independently in the final production environment. It needs to match the speed and conveying direction of the filling, capping, labeling and packing equipment around it. Factory testing provides an opportunity to review the machine before it leaves the manufacturing facility.

It also helps confirm practical points that are easy to overlook during the design stage, such as operator access, film replacement space, adjustment convenience and maintenance clearance. When these details are checked early, installation at the customer’s factory can be more organized.

For TUYAO PACKAGING, factory testing is part of the engineering process rather than a final visual inspection. The team uses the test to review machine performance, make necessary adjustments and prepare the equipment for the next commissioning stage.

The next step: full-line testing

After the initial test of the shrink wrapping machine, the project will move toward full-line testing. In this stage, the shrink wrapper will be connected with the relevant bottled water equipment and tested as part of the complete production flow.

The full-line test will focus on coordination between bottle feeding, filling, capping, labeling, conveying and final packaging. Engineers will review line speed, product transfer, pack stability and communication between the different machine control systems.

This step is especially important for a 5L bottled water line because the larger bottle format places higher demands on conveying stability and pack handling. Testing the equipment together helps the team evaluate the production process as a complete system instead of checking each machine separately.

TUYAO PACKAGING’s approach to beverage projects

TUYAO PACKAGING provides filling and packaging equipment for bottled water, juice, carbonated drinks, canned beverages, edible oil and other liquid products. With more than 22 years of engineering experience, the company supports customers with equipment selection, line layout, manufacturing, factory testing, installation guidance and after-sales service.

For each project, the final machine configuration depends on the customer’s product, container size, target capacity, packaging format and factory layout. A 5L bottled water project may require different conveyor dimensions and packaging settings from a small-bottle water line. This is why project details should be confirmed before production and checked again during testing.

Looking ahead to delivery and commissioning

The first-stage factory test marks the completion of equipment assembly and the beginning of the commissioning process. Once the machine passes the necessary checks and the full-line test is completed, the project can move closer to delivery and installation at the customer’s facility.

The purpose of each test is clear: to create a stable, practical and easy-to-operate packaging solution for the customer’s 5L bottled water production. TUYAO PACKAGING will continue to follow the project through the next testing stage and provide technical support for the complete line.

If you are planning a bottled water production line, share your bottle size, target capacity and packaging requirements with TUYAO PACKAGING. Our engineers can recommend a suitable filling and packaging configuration for your project.
